Construction of a 1,250 sq.m. sand & salt storage storage and mixing building located on the west side on Public Operations property. It is located just of of University Drive near Highway 3. This project was part of a phased development of an operations base in West Lethbridge. The scope of work included a design build construction of a Glu-Laminated wood un-insulated, arch rib building with 2.4m high foundation walls. The foundation walls were construction to resist loading from equipment operating within the building and forces exerted on the concrete walls, during mixing, storage, and removal of materials. large concrete buttresses were utilized to resist these forces and support the loads of the the glulam arches.
