Processing Plant & Hatchery
Construction of two different buildings with one integrated schedule. Phase 1 was the construction of the 30,000 sq. ft. hatchery and once that was completed phase 2 was the construction of the 66,000 sq. ft. processing plant.
Turkey Plant
Construction included structural concrete and steel installations, refrigerated areas including insulated metal panel walls with concrete curbs and in-slab heating. In addition, a new loading dock and drive through loading area, as well as required electrical, mechanical and control installations all while ensuring that facility operations were not impacted.
Processing Expansion
Addition required to house the new air chill system, expanded packaging line, garbage and battery areas and expanding loading docks.
Hatchery Expansion
The expansion increased the building area by approximately one-third. This was needed in order to increase the number of incubators in operation and to make improvements to the mechanical room.
