With a student capacity of 400, St. Kateri Elementary School will serve as a cornerstone of the fast-growing PIERS community for decades to come. The building is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification and features a steel structure on footings, with a combination of brick and fibre cement paneling on the exterior, creating a distinctive finished appearance.
In addition to multiple classrooms and flexible, mixed-use learning spaces, the school includes a gymnasium, learning commons, gathering space, theatre, rooftop patio, and an outdoor classroom. These elements closely align with the bright, natural design themes carried throughout the space.
