This project consists of a major renovation of a school building to improve function and suitability for present and future educational programs. The Wilson Middle School was constructed in the 1960’s and has been struggling to keep pace with the new technologies that make up current Alberta curriculum requirements. The modernization will include a large open gathering space adjacent to the library and kitchen facilities. The classroom overhaul will include the installation of the latest smartboards and projectors. Exterior building insulation and the addition of a high-efficiency boiler will round out the major improvements to this facility. Completion is anticipated for the start of school year 2017.
